Two Years of Artistic Exploration in a 6” Circle

In 2018, Eileen Murray-Kraft began experimenting with collage techniques, which led to a passion for mixed media art. Following her exhibition, “Pentimento”, she adapted her practice to accommodate the limitations of her cottage-sized residence by working using a unique medium: 6-inch circular watercolor card stock. Since that transition, Eileen has developed a diverse body of collages in this distinctive format. She works across multiple media—including pencil, marker, paint, clay, and textiles—bringing them together to create cohesive and meaningful artworks. Her creative process is deeply personal, and while some pieces are intended for personal satisfaction, she aspires for a broader audience to appreciate her work.
