Pentimento

 Eileen's show focuses on her recent collages where her imagination meets canvas.

In 2018, Eileen started experimenting with the technique of collage and fell in love with the medium. Her occasional use of old canvases and painting over existing images while letting them peek through here and there is where the show’s name came from. With little official training, Eileen feels free and comfortable finding her own style and is not "framed in", as it were, to a medium or movement. Eileen works in many media (pencil, marker, paint, clay and textiles) and has fallen in love with combining them to create new works of art. Her work has become very special and personal to her.  Except for the occasional piece, she creates to please herself, and she hopes that the world will enjoy it as well.
